Kate Smith

Kate Smith graduated from Indiana University with a degree in English Literature and a minor in Political Science. Having spent the first part of her career writing, Smith moved on to work in the State and Federal Acquisition space. Working her way from Proposal Writer to Senior Proposal Manager, Smith has an extensive background in FAR and non-FAR Based Acquisition and formal training and certification in the Shipley Business Development Methodology.

At Dioltas, Smith works to grow the ecosystem of partnerships with Public and Private entities, Academia, and Mission Partners. Smith develops an understanding of our client's capabilities and will create a road map to success for engagement with the DoD and other government departments and agencies. Additionally, she will advise on specific teaming arrangements to ensure a comprehensive solution is submitted to government requirements. Smith is able to expertly advise on capture management and proposal development processes to achieve the highest probability of win rate possible.

As a Military Wife, Smith is deeply committed to ensuring our Warfighters are equipped to handle the threats posed in modern warfare. Smith has served as the Secretary and Chair of the Family Readiness Group (FRG) for two units. She also serves on the Fishers Youth Assistance Program Board as Development Chair, serving her community's at-risk youth through food assistance, tutoring programs, and other initiatives.
