Melanie Dodd

Melanie Dodd is one of the most tenured and esteemed members of the Dioltas team. As the Controller, she oversees all daily accounting operations, including payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. Melanie plays a critical role in developing and managing budgets, ensuring they align with the company’s strategic goals. She is responsible for cash flow management, accurately tracking all incoming and outgoing funds.

In her capacity, Melanie develops, monitors, and disseminates internal controls to protect the company's assets and to prevent or detect errors and fraud. She collaborates with external auditors to ensure compliance with proper reporting standards and provides detailed financial analyses, projections, and estimates to senior management and board members.

Prior to her role at Dioltas, Melanie served our country as a nurse for 6 years in the United States Navy stationed at Camp Pendleton, CA. The Navy provides healthcare services to the Marines, this is where she met her husband, Mike Dodd. After the navy she continued her nursing career specializing in cardiac care for 20 years. She brings the same dedication and precision to her work at Dioltas as she did in her military and healthcare service.

Melanie, her husband, Mike, and their two young adult sons reside in the Carmel area. Outside of her professional responsibilities, Melanie enjoys playing pickleball, rollerblading and visiting National Parks.
