Mr. Mike Mitchell

Mike Mitchell spent more than three decades in senior leadership roles in the Department of Defense, most recently heading up corporate leadership responsibilities for Strategic Communication, Strategic Direction, and Advocacy Management at Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division.

Mitchell began his career at the Naval Avionics Center in Indianapolis in 1983, as a project engineer in Navigation Systems. He quickly rose through the ranks holding leadership positions in production oversight, acquisition, strategic business planning, facility and infrastructure planning, operational plans and budgets, and business process re-engineering.

Mitchell holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Evansville, an MBA from Ball State University, and a Public Management Certificate from Indiana University. He is a member of the Midwest Section of the American Society of Naval Engineers and the Federal Manager’s Association.
